About the course
Integrate mechanical systems, electronics and software to study automated equipment. The proposed outline develops a broad engineering foundation before system-level design and evaluation. Southern African examples should consider reliable operation, maintainability, worker interaction and production needs, with technology choices justified against a clear problem statement.

Requirements
- Recommended preparation includes strong mathematics, physical science, technical English and computer literacy. BMIT must publish its approved admissions and recognition-of-prior-learning rules before enrolment decisions. Comparator universities set their own thresholds. Their credits, module codes and duration have not been transferred to this outline.
